For Rookies students (Beginners through Intermediates)
This program is for beginning through intermediate students. Students progress from a 36’ court to a 60’
court to the regulation 78’ court using low compression balls. The shorter courts, softer balls and smaller racquets enable students to experience “playing tennis” and students advance to more
challenging court sizes and balls when they demonstrate they are ready to advance. This system is generally referred to as the
A mix of drills, games, match play and light conditioning will include basic stroke production.
Students must be at least 7 years old to enroll.

“Special Instructions” section of the registration form. We will then credit your charge card.
· Registration is done ONLINE starting December 19. Go to MesaTennis.com and click on the “ Rookies
Lessons” tab at the top of page. Be sure to include the students’ names in the “Special Instructions”
section of the registration form. All classes have limited enrollments and early registration is advised.
· We sell new junior racquets in our pro shop.
· Sorry, there are no refunds or credits for students who withdraw for any reason.
· Call facility if weather is questionable, we cannot call all students.
